House Agencies

How Agencies Are Established

Agencies are created to pass certain duties of the House to agencies for management. All agencies and Secretaries are approved by the House. When the House passes duties to the Agencies, they create House Administrative Code (HAC) that are rules that are equally enforced to the House of Commons Code.

10 HAC 1 - Mangement Related to Spraying Weeds
All roads, except from the curve up, under the Secretary jursidication shall be sprayed at least four times a year. Other areas may be sprayed with the approval of the Secretary.

10 HAC 2 - Mangement Related to Fall Leaves
All roads shall be reasonably cleared of fall leaves as necessary.

Department of Commerce (DOC)

11 HAC 1 - Filing of New Business

The Secretary shall collect a $15 filing fee for completing House Form 1031, Filing of New Business, as granted under HCC 2-8-4(c).

12 HAC 1 - Vaccinations

§ 1. General requirement.

All Members of the House of Commons shall be required to be vaccinated for the following:

(1) Diphtheria;

(2) Pertussis (whooping cough);

(3) Tetanus;

(4) Measles;

(5) Rubella;

(6) Poliomyelitis;

(7) Mumps;

(8) Varicella;

(9) Hepatitis A;

(10) Hepatitis B;

(11) Meningitis;

(12) Influenza (flu); and

(13) Novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

§ 1.01. Verification.

Each Member shall attest yearly, on paper, subject to penalties of perjury, to the Health Advisor of the House that they are in compliance with this rule.

§ 1.02. Exemptions.

Those with medical conditions where vaccination would cause harm, as determined by a medical professional, shall complete a form, to be created by the Advisor, and attested by, subject to penalties of perjury, the medical professional and the Member, finding that vaccination would pose harm to the Member shall be exempt from § 1 of this rule.

§ 1.03. Length of exemption.

An exemption shall only be valid for one (1) year and should an exemption still be necessary, the Member shall re-apply for an exemption.

§ 1.04. Requirement deadline.

Attestation to verification of § 1 requirement shall be required to be completed by December 15 of each year.

§ 1.05. Failure to comply.

Failure to comply with § 1 shall be considered a violation of law and all violations will be referred to the Inspector General pursuant to HCC § 2-2-11(d) for further investigation.

§ 1.06. Privacy.

All records maintained under this rule shall be kept confidential in a locked drawer and not subject to public disclosure.
